Why We Still Believe in Greeting Cards

In a world of instant messages and quick replies, a handwritten card still carries weight.

It’s something people keep. Something that sits on a shelf, gets re-read, or ends up tucked away in a memory box. That’s why we’ve always believed greeting cards matter.

Our cards begin as original watercolour paintings, designed to capture a feeling rather than just an occasion. We keep them blank inside, so they can be used however you like – whether it’s a birthday, a thank you, or just a note to say you’re thinking of someone.

A few things we always prioritise:

  • Printed in England
  • FSC-certified board
  • 300gsm matt finish with a subtle watercolour texture
  • “Naked” by default (no plastic), with eco options available

We design our ranges to feel timeless, so they don’t date quickly and can sit comfortably in any setting – from independent shops to everyday homes.

You can browse the full range in our greeting cards collection, including favourites like The Highlands, The Meadow and The Coast.

In short, we’re not trying to reinvent the card – just make it something people genuinely want to send.
