September 2019 ! The Busiest Month Ever!

We set off to bonny Scotland in the early hours on Saturday morning, watching the sun come up over the picturesque mountains and countryside, which was a bonus of the long car journey and slightly made up for the extremely early start!

Hello Glasgow

We made it to the SEC mid-morning and set up our small but perfectly formed stand, brought to life with our picture. We were excited to find out what the next few days would bring.

Once set up we decided to be tourists for the afternoon and explore the city. We loved Glasgow – there was so much to see and so little time! It has amazing architecture and an exciting buzz. As always, my phone was in hand ready to capture shots of this fantastic part of the world for my scrap book.

Sunday Morning

Ready for the show, we were totally amazed at how many familiar faces were there! We were over 300 miles from home, bumping into people from down the road! Our friend Sanjay from The Spice Kitchen kept us entertained throughout the day which was fantastic. I don’t usually paint on display but was willing to give it a go. Mr H and I tag-teamed and it was GREAT. We loved seeing our stockists face to face and meeting exciting new ones.

The Scottish Accent

I couldn’t have a trip up to Scotland without noting how much I love the accent! I smiled each time I heard an ‘aye’ or a ‘coo’. The atmosphere at the show was different to others, it seemed very intimate and friendly.

Thanks for the experience Glasgow, we’ll be back!

Hello ‘Glasgow’.

We made it to the SEC mid morning and set up our small but perfectly formed stand that made a big impact with our pictures. We were excited to know what the next few days would bring.

We managed to get set up quite early so we decided to take a tourist afternoon and explore the city. We loved Glasgow - and there was so much to see and so little time. We will remember the architecture and exciting buzz of the city. As always my phone was in hand ready to take the shots of this fantastic part of the world for the scrap book.

Sunday Morning.

Ready for the show, I was totally amazed at how many people I actually knew! 300+ miles from home and you still bump into your neighbours! We had our friend, the wonderful Sanjay from the @spicekitchen, to keep us entertained througout the show, which was fantastic.

I'm not the best at painting on display but was willing to give it ago. Mr.H. and I tagged teamed and it was GREAT. We loved seeing our stockists and meeting exciting new ones.

Love the Scottish accent.

I smile every time I heard "Aye" and “Coo”.

The atmosphere in a small show was totally different and seemed intimate and caring. We came away happy, so until the next one…. thanks for the experience Glasgow.
